Being raised on the Norwegian countryside, you`re not directly in the melting pot when it comes to electronical dance music in Norway. Omega, aka Oddgeir Enger, have his native roots in a small place called Toten. This is not the place to be when you eager after house music 24 hours a day, something this lad did already in the early 90`s. Having Sasha and Renaissance as idol de luxe, things had to be done. The only right thing to do was to leave this place that god forgot, and head for the capitol. That`s just what he did, and after his arrival in Oslo things started to happen for sure.

A decade later and 28 years old he can look back on the achievements, and be quite pleased. Nowadays he`s busy all across Norway, mainly in Oslo where he runs the success night Timeslip with partner balErik. Timeslip just had up and coming star Desyn Masiello, but Omega has also twisted clubs alongside Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, Lee Coombs, Slacker, Ian Ossia, Greg Vickers and Skylark-guru Nic Fanciulli to name a few. Back in the days he did guestshows on Temple Of Love and also Monkey Business where Nils Noa is resident these days. He`s also holding the residency at the awarded club night Odyssey, quite a task for sure. Odyssey have been known in Norway for always having beautiful deco, an amazing crowd and extraordinary jocks – either it`s Norwegian locals or foreign superstars, you will always have a blast on Odyssey with a sweet taste afterwards.

Hard work and a true passion for dancemusic the last couple of years, have produced carrots. December 2004 DJ Omega was nominated for “ best DJ “ in Oslo`s webguide for nightlife (Nattguiden.no). With the level on the established DJs plus all the hard working bedroom jocks, this is quite an achievement for this guy who started to hear Sasha CDs on the farm 12 years ago. One thing leads to another, and January 2005 he got himself his own radio show on radio Oslo. Here you can hear his sexy, techy and chuggy house music once a week on Tuesdays. He will mostly be playing himself, but also guests now and then.

Now he has got several gigs abroad, like in Amsterdam (Hotel Arena), Sweden, and gigs are coming up in both Russia and Ukraina.

Looking back in time it`s quite a major to rock the annual summer parade in Oslo among 25 000 crazy party people, having a monthly night at one of Norway`s best house clubs, being resident at the glamoures Odyssey, own radio show and much more to come in the future. With endless hours on the net searching innovative, different and new music he`s improving every day that goes by. If you hear some of the fattest music and there`s
lovely people all over the club, the odds might be quite good that Omega is the one behind the wheels of steal. This is where it all starts..
